ACSDD \nDr. Adams graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1983 and started his private practice in Indianapolis shortly after his graduation. His clinical skills were recognized early by the faculty at the IU School of Dentistry\, where he taught clinical dentistry for 5 years. DESCRIPTION:Join Dr. John Comisi and Dr. Jerry Hu before ASBA's Annual Sleep & Wellness Conference!\nThursday\, April 23rd at Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resort\n8:00am-12:00pm & 2:30pm-5:30pm\n\nThe American Board of Sleep and Breathing (ABSB) is an independent organization that provides a Diplomate designation for American Sleep and Breathing Academy "ASBA" member/doctors who provide evidence of knowledge and skill in the provision of oral appliance therapy for sleep and breathing disorders.\nThe ABSB is a collective of physician and dentist contributors who provide their expertise and experience in developing and applying testing/evaluation of dentists seeking recognition for their education in sleep medicine and their expertise in provision of oral appliance therapy for sleep and breathing disorders.\nThe mission is to provide physician colleagues and the public with knowledgeable and skilled dental practitioners in the field of sleep medicine through the process of Diplomate designation.\n\nREGISTER FOR THE REVIEW COURSE \n  \nDr. John Comisi\, DDS\, MAGD \nDr. Comisi is a graduate of Northwestern University Dental School and practiced general dentistry in Ithaca\, NY\, for nearly 35 years. In August 2017\, he was recruited to join the faculty of the Medical University of South Carolina’s James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine in Charleston\, SC\, where he served as an Associate Professor of Restorative Dentistry. There\, he created and instituted a unique multidisciplinary elective course in Dental Sleep Medicine that certified more than 200 pre-docs\, residents\, and faculty in this important field. \nHe was recruited and appointed as a Professor in the Department of General Dentistry at the Dental College of Georgia\, Augusta University. He currently serves as the Course Director for Bioclinical Seminar VI—Oral Biology & Diagnostic Sciences. He is collaborating to establish a Sleep Services Committee to integrate dentistry and medicine\, with the goal of better serving the people of Georgia and South Carolina. \nHe has published more than 40 articles\, with over 520 citations since 2020\, and has authored four textbook chapters. \nDr. Comisi is an Emeritus Member and Master of the Academy of General Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy. He is recognized as a Fellow of several prestigious organizations\, including the Academy of Dentistry International\, the American College of Dentists\, the Pierre Fauchard Academy\, and the International College of Dentists. Additionally\, Dr. Comisi served with distinction as President of the South Carolina Dental Association in 2023 and currently serves on the American Dental Association’s Council on Scientific Affairs and its SEAL Subcommittee. \n  \n  \nDr. Jerry Hu\, DDS \nDr. Hu  is dedicated to providing exceptional dentistry in Anchorage and Soldotna. Over the years\, Dr. Hu has attained extensive training at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry\, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine\, International Congress of Oral Implantologists\, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry\, and at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). He has earned many Fellowships and Masterships and has published numerous articles with his research in cosmetic dentistry and dental sleep apnea treatment. In 2017\, he became the first full time dentist in Alaska to earn Board certification for Dental Sleep Medicine as a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and the American Sleep and Breathing Academy. \nREGISTER FOR THE REVIEW COURSE
