Last weekend’s ASBA Study Club in Minneapolis, MN was nothing short of exceptional. The amazing world class Doctors that atteneded this event made it something truly special.
We kicked things off Thursday night with an unforgettable dinner at the world-renowned Manny’s Steakhouse — a first-class experience generously covered by the ASBA. The atmosphere, the food, and the camaraderie set the tone for an incredible weekend ahead.

Friday and Saturday, I had the privilege of being the main lecturer, sharing real-world strategies and case studies with an incredible group of dedicated doctors. The discussions were rich, the engagement was high, and the knowledge exchange was exactly what makes ASBA Study Clubs so powerful.
As I’ve often said:
“The value of what you get from attending an ASBA Study Club is on a whole other level.”
To wrap it all up, on Saturday afternoon, we headed to a Minnesota Vikings preseason game — another perk of being an ASBA member and Study Club attendee. Great football, great company, and a perfect way to celebrate a weekend of professional growth and connection.
I know that David Gergen is with the NFL, but we had over 30 Tickets in the same section, an outsatnding feat for teamn like the MN Vikings. We were all able to sit together and mingle and discuss the Study Club while enjoying the game.
You can't say anything about negative about the value ASBA has for its members. The Academy takes care of all its members not only professionally but also on a personal level.

I truly believe:
“You cannot put a price on what is taught and how it is taught by real-world doctors who utilize this knowledge daily.”
If you’ve never attended an ASBA Study Club, you’re missing out on an experience that’s as rewarding personally as it is professionally.

“The Study Club hosted by ASBA this past weekend was an exceptional assembly of clinicians interested in expanding their treatment options for OSA. Three dimensional evaluation and treatment recommendations took all attendees to a higher, comprehensive treatment option for sleep disordered breathing - using the diagnostic tools we already have in our practices.
The subject content presented enables our clinics to address the epigenetic potential of the components of breathing within our scope of practice - structurally - not just the traditional mandibular advancement appliance.
Attendees were from all regions of the United States so it will be exciting to see each area implementing the skills learned. These techniques can be implemented on kids as well as adults, so the lives affected will include multiple generations. This is the future of our county’s health. Simply amazing.”

“My journey into sleep dentistry began unexpectedly after a shoulder injury forced me to step away from general dentistry. Determined to provide the best care for my new sleep patients, I explored various organizations for education. I completed the AADSM Mastery 1 Program, but the results in my patients weren’t what I’d hoped for.
Then I found the American Sleep and Breathing Academy (ASBA) — and I was blown away. The organization is collaborative, welcoming, and full of members eager to share their knowledge and experience.
I attended Dr. Jerry Hu’s Introduction to Sleep Dentistry course, and it was transformative. Dr. Hu blends his personal journey with an infectious passion for improving patient lives and a relentless mission to eradicate AHI. His course covered everything — from handling inbound calls and using effective scripts, to streamlined treatment workflows, appliance selection for various situations, taking the correct bite, physician communication, and even simplifying insurance billing into a clear, repeatable process. I learned more from Dr. Hu in that one course than I had anywhere else in sleep dentistry. This is the course I wish I had taken at the very start — it’s the ideal launchpad for implementing sleep dentistry successfully.
I also attended the Advanced Study Club, where Dr. Tim Adams’ lecture on epigenetics and the Open Loop Cricket (OLC) was nothing short of mind-blowing. His ability to connect cranial distortions with TMD, airway, and neurological issues is both captivating and practical. The OLC’s results are incredible — I’ve personally used it with patients and have seen remarkable improvements in tinnitus, vertigo, TMD, migraines, sleep quality, and even facial symmetry. Many of these results appeared within 30 days and continued to improve over time.
The ASBA isn’t just education — it’s the key to transforming your practice.”

“I’ve followed my husband to more dental events than I can count, and each one has offered something new to take home and implement. But the top drawer experience happened in Minneapolis with the ASBA on August 8-9.
From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The hotel accommodations were truly luxurious, and the dinner… well, it was at the number one steakhouse in the World. I’ve never seen potatoes arranged in such a perfect circular display or broccoli so vibrantly green it looked like it was created by AI — and yet the flavor exceeded even the stunning presentation.
A heartfelt shout-out to Dave Gergen for going above and beyond to create such a remarkable event. We loved every moment!”

When Dave invited me to the ASBA meeting in Minnesota, the timing could not have been more difficult. I was in the midst of launching Beyonn— Still, Dave urged me not to miss it, my respect for Dave said, “Go” He was absolutely right.
After 15 years of exclusively treating OSA and TMD, I have attended countless lectures and training programs. Yet, this meeting was different. Over two days, Tim Adams delivered an extraordinary presentation that was as practical as it was visionary. His mastery of the subject matter, combined with his groundbreaking work on the Cricket appliance, provided immediate take-home value. I have already incorporated his techniques into my daily protocols, and the impact is tangible.
What impressed me most was Tim’s generosity. In an era where many guard their “trade secrets,” he shared openly, giving others the tools to achieve the same level of success he has experienced. That level of professional transparency is rare—and invaluable.
Being part of ASBA from its early days, I have always admired Dave’s mission: to elevate dentistry by helping every clinician who is willing to learn. This meeting reinforced why ASBA membership is a must for any dentist ready to look beyond the teeth. The academy’s programs are not just educational—they are transformative, equipping practitioners to deliver a higher standard of care and to grow in ways they never imagined.
In short, ASBA delivers on its promise. If you are serious about advancing your clinical skills, expanding your impact, and connecting with innovators who truly care about your success, there is no better place to invest your time.

“There are those special times in life when we feel beyond blessed to experience so much joy and enrichment at an industry meeting in our profession. The Minnesota ASBA meeting this August was simply that kind of a meeting.
The atmosphere of the meeting was filled with the eagerness of learning and the sharing of knowledge. The networking, the exchanging of ideas and experiences, and the passion displayed by all of the attendees and educators exemplified the very definition of teamwork and leadership.
Francisco Eraso, quite simply speaking, will advance the entire field of dental sleep medicine, period. His G Force Aligner system, his remarkable experience in CT - CONEBEAM oral radiology (Beam Readers), and his ability to incorporate the Open Loop Cricket and Quantum physics into the clear aligner system all make the future of dental sleep medicine so exciting. Moreover, he will carry that torch and light up the industry worldwide from Asia to South America. Our Academy truly will make a global impact, and what an incredible journey this will be due to the knowledge and expertise of Francisco.
Tim Adams with the OLC, delivered as he always does. He captured the attention of the attendees and turned on their bright thinking lights. His lecture style really allows people to connect to his way of thinking, and he gets them prepared to do the OLC responsibly and thoroughly. The industry needs his intelligence and passion - teaching real solutions and methods that work. Thinking outside the box, avoiding the same old pit falls and issues that old school practitioners limit themselves with, Tim provides a breath of fresh air and a methodology that elevates our profession.
Dave Gergen, without a doubt, poured his heart into this Minnesota gathering. On top of being the one who truly makes things happen, such as this wonderful meeting, he goes above and beyond. It wasn’t enough for him to just have the best educational experience for the attendees, he wanted all of us to have meaningful life journey activities and memories. He invited all of us to go to a pre season NFL game and invited legends such as Chuck Foreman and Stu Voigt to visit us in our meeting. Additionally, he took people out to Manny’s - one of the best steak houses in the world. Dave simply is an exceptional leader and what is most dear to all of us is his big heart. That heart of his is full of love.
ASBA, without a doubt, is the future of dental sleep medicine. This academy is truly the best of the best!”
