There are those special times in life when we feel beyond blessed to experience so much joy and enrichment at an industry meeting in our profession. The Minnesota ASBA meeting this August was simply that kind of a meeting.
The atmosphere of the meeting was filled with the eagerness of learning and the sharing of knowledge. The networking, the exchanging of ideas and experiences, and the passion displayed by all of the attendees and educators exemplified the very definition of teamwork and leadership.
Dr. Francisco Eraso, quite simply speaking, will advance the entire field of dental sleep medicine, period. His G Force Aligner system, his remarkable experience in CT - CONEBEAM oral radiology (Beam Readers), and his ability to incorporate the Open Loop Cricket and Quantum physics into the clear aligner system all make the future of dental sleep medicine so exciting. Moreover, he will carry that torch and light up the industry worldwide from Asia to South America.
Dr. Tim Adams, with the OLC, delivered as he always does. He captured the attention of the attendees and turned on their bright thinking lights. His lecture style really allows people to connect
to his way of thinking, and he gets them prepared to do the OLC responsibly and thoroughly. The industry needs his intelligence and passion — teaching real solutions and methods that work. Thinking outside the box, avoiding the same old pitfalls and issues that old school practitioners limit themselves with, Tim provides a breath of fresh air and a methodology that elevates our profession.
David Gergen, without a doubt, poured his heart into this Minnesota gathering. On top of being the one who truly makes things happen, such as this wonderful meeting, he goes above and beyond. It wasn’t enough for him to just have the best educational experience for the attendees, he wanted all of us to have meaningful life journey activities and memories. He invited all of us to go to a preseason NFL game and invited legends such as Chuck Foreman and Stu Voigt to visit us in our meeting. Additionally, he took people out to Manny’s Steakhouse — one of the best in the world.
Dave simply is an exceptional leader and what is most dear to all of us is his big heart. That heart of his is full of love.
ASBA, without a doubt, is the future of dental sleep medicine. This academy is truly the best of the best!

I was at an AADSM conference in Vegas recently and ran into a friend and colleague I greatly admire, Dr. Jerry Hu. He highly recommended that I join ASBA and introduced me to David Gergen, who told me about the upcoming course with Dr. Tim Adams.
I vowed I would not take another CE course this year because I
have taken more than 7 total already, but I really wanted to hear Dr. Adams and meet David Gergen. So I attended the ASBA study club meeting, “Advanced Open Loop Cricket and Adams Orthodontic Appliance Line.”
I am so glad I did. It provided a profound and transformative
learning experience like no other.
The depth of knowledge shared by Dr. Adams, particularly "Biotensegrity, Fascia, and Mechanotransduction," truly enhanced the understanding of the body's intricate systems and how we as dentists can play an important role in helping our patients heal in profound ways.
The knowledge and passion shared by Dr. Jerry Hu was very inspiring, and the practical insights from Dr. Francisco Eraso, Dr. Scott Parker, and Dr. Rod Wiley also offered incredibly helpful and actionable information.
This course not only provided a solid foundation in cranial strains and its impact on TMJ, airway, and whole-body health, but also information on advanced solutions that supersede the current concepts. I am very excited about the OLC and the Adams Orthodontic Appliance Line that can support our body in true healing.
I highly recommend that all dentists providing airway, sleep, TMJ, and orthodontic procedures in their practice join ASBA and take Dr. Adam’s course. I am confident that it will change your practice and your life.

I had the privilege of attending Dr. Jerry Hu’s presentation on the introduction to dental sleep medicine at the American Sleep and Breathing Academy in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dr. Hu’s expertise and passion for the field were truly inspiring. His personal journey into dental sleep medicine was not only engaging but also provided a compelling context for his deep commitment to this specialty.
Dr. Hu demonstrated exceptional knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment workflows for airway-related conditions using dental appliances. His ability to break down complex concepts into clear, actionable insights was remarkable, making the subject accessible and relevant. The presentation was well-structured, informative, and left me with a solid foundation in sleep dentistry that I feel confident building upon in my own practice.
I am eager to attend more of Dr. Hu’s courses in the future. His teaching style and expertise have ignited my enthusiasm for incorporating dental sleep medicine into my practice to better serve my patients.
I highly recommend Dr. Hu to any dental professional seeking to expand their knowledge in this vital and growing field.

Hello to all of you! I have to tell you I went into the meeting wanting to learn a lot about sleep, breathing, and to add to the knowledge I had about airway, ortho, and cranial aspects.
This meeting definitely hit it out of the park. And it has stirred in me the desire to do this full-time. I’m already doing airway and cranially focused ortho one day a week, but I still feel that I have much more to learn and want to let you know that I would love help in figuring out how to help people with sleep full-time!
I’m already getting the Deka Laser.
I feel like implementing the Cricket will be easy, as well as the Herbst.
But understanding sleep reports will be the biggest thing I have to learn.
I was surprised, but truly, Tim Adams, your presentation was game changing for me, because it seems as if it is a foundation for moving forward with anything that needs to be done.
And Jerry Hu, your knowledge of sleep and the body is so comprehensive!
I already have like 3 patients that could benefit. Then I will learn how to use the laser for sleep. So I’m reaching out to all of you because I know you’re trying to perfect systems, and I would love to give input in that.
