Tim Safley MBA, RRT, RCP

Director, DME, Pharmacy, & Sleep

Tim is the Director of DMEPOS, Sleep & Pharmacy, responsible for the development and implementation of the DMEPOS, Sleep and Pharmacy Accreditation Programs. He began his career with ACHC as a Surveyor in 2006.

Tim has more than three decades of experience in the respiratory care profession, including twenty-five years in the HME industry and ten years in sleep medicine. Tim was the Regional Vice President for a national home care provider for over twelve years and Director of Respiratory Development for a large regional home care operation. He is presently serving on several boards which include: The North Carolina Respiratory Care Board and the North Carolina Medical Equipment Association.  He also serves as the respiratory therapy consultant for the North Carolina Division of Medical Assistance.

Tim is a graduate of the Durham Technical Community College's Respiratory Care program, and received his MBA from Elon University. He has published several papers on product development and management protocols to enhance the profitability of the HME industry.
