Timothy C Adams, DDS

One the foremost experts in Sleep and Craniofacial Epigenetics

Dr. Adams graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1983 and started his private practice in Indianapolis shortly after his graduation. His clinical skills were recognized early by the faculty at the IU School of Dentistry where he taught clinical dentistry for 5 years. It was at that time Dr. Adams realized how much he enjoyed teaching and being involved in the advancement of dentistry. As a result of his passion for education he has published over 21 articles in national and international journals as well as co-authoring a chapter in the prestigious textbook Dental Clinics of North America.

He was a Clinical Instructor and eventual Clinical Director at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) from 1997 to 2005. Dr. Adams also served as Clinical Director of Occlusion at the Center for Exceptional Practices.

Dr. Adams has received national recognition as a dentist who has lectured to and trained dentists in Cosmetic Dentistry, Sleep Apnea, TMJ, Occlusion, Full Mouth Reconstruction, Neuromuscular Dentistry and Craniofacial Asymmetries. He is a member of ADA, IDA, IDDS, AACD, D.ABSA, D.ACSDD

 

 

Paul Serrano, DDS, MS

Dr. Paul Serrano is a highly respected, board-certified orthodontist with over five decades of experience transforming smiles in Phoenix and Chandler, Arizona. Dr. Andrew Serrano, DMD, MPH

Dr. Andrew Serrano was born and raised in the Valley of the Sun. Chasing cooler weather, he attended Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, where he majored in biotechnology.

Not only did he excel in the classroom, but he also thrived on the football field, earning All-Ivy Honors as team captain his senior year.

Dr. Andrew returned to Arizona to complete his doctorate degree at Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. He remained to complete his master’s degree in public health and his postdoctoral residency in orthodontics.

As a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics and the American Sleep and Breathing Academy, Dr. Andrew Serrano feels strongly about continuing education and providing the most advanced treatment to his patients.

Specifically, he’s interested in accelerated orthodontic treatment, craniofacial and orthognathic orthodontics, temporomandibular joint function and dysfunction (TMD/TMJ), and sleep-disordered breathing.

As a board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Andrew Serrano is one of the most skilled and experienced orthodontists in the country. He had to pass rigorous written and clinical exams to achieve this distinction, proving his ability to treat even the most complex cases.

Jerry Hu, DDS, DASBA, DABDSM, DACSDD

ASBA 2025 Board Member

Jerry Hu, DDS, DASBA, DABDSM, DACSDD, MICOI, FICOI, AFAAID, LVIF, FIAPA, FIADFE, has been lecturing, doing clinical research, and practicing full time dentistry for over 26 years. He lectures internationally on cosmetic & implant dentistry, as well as on his greatest passion, in the field of dental sleep medicine. He has won numerous national awards in cosmetic and full mouth reconstruction dentistry, been published in several peer reviewed world renowned dentistry journals such as JDSM, JCD, Aegis, Dentistry Today, DSP, and his work even landed the cover of the highly regarded peer reviewed Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD's peer reviewed journal).

He also is adjunct faculty at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) teaching the first interdisciplinary sleep medicine curriculum to Medical M4, Dental D4 and fellows/ Residents of the University, and also teaches at several annual national meetings and sleep medicine conventions and several online webinars, Clinical Pearls forum on social media (FB), teaches for several dental Academies/organizations (ACSDD, ASBA, Roundtable, Neirman's ) and had taught for many years for Sleep Group Solutions, Modern, Global/Microdental USA, and also for several other state level dental society's such as Missouri Sleep Society and North Carolina AGD. He also has developed 5 IP patents in dental sleep medicine and did a start up, O2&U, in Melbourne, Australia. When time permits, Dr Hu loves traveling and spending time with his family exploring the great outdoors in Alaska and Nevada.
